Jet Black Golf was founded September 2, 2020 by Larry Rees II. Jet Black Golf is a lifestyle and mindset. We encourage current and future generations to meet their challenges face on. To know that everything they need is within, they just need to discover it. Jet Black Golf is not just for golfers but for everyone with the JBG mentality, to see it through!      I was born and raised in Nashville,Tn. I grew up playing baseball and basketball. My two older sisters were the bookworms. My parents had multiple jobs and my father is an avid golfer at Ted Rhodes golf course. I was fortunate to receive a scholarship to play basketball in college where I received two bachelors degrees one in Criminal Justice and another in Aerospace. My profession is an Air Traffic Controller in one of the nations busiest airports. 

     One day I was playing pick-up basketball in the city when I had a serious high ankle sprain. I called home to tell my dad about it. He said “ son it's not cool going to work with crutches, you should try golf.” He sent me a set of his old clubs in the summer of 2014, I went to a local driving range, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I believe you don’t pick this game, it picks you, and I accepted the challenge. Golf has leaked out of the country clubs and into the city. The charisma and sauce that we bring is here to stay. I want to showcase a brand that embodies this energy.
